On the occasion of the first remembrance day of the late Shri Ghattamaneni Krishna Garu, Mahesh Babu, along with his wife, former actor Namrata Shirodkar, launched the Superstar Krishna Educational Fund through the Mahesh Babu Foundation. Established in 2020, the Mahesh Babu Foundation has been actively involved in sponsoring financial aid for children, especially infants born with heart-related ailments. Through their dedicated efforts, they have successfully saved the lives of over 2500 children under the age of 10.
With deep reverence for his father and his remarkable contribution to the film industry, Mahesh Babu decided to honor Superstar Krishna Garu’s legacy by inaugurating the Superstar Krishna Educational Fund. This scholarship initiative aims to provide support to more than 40 meritorious students from below-poverty-line families.
