The last year Tollywood producers announced that the Bollywood blockbuster Andhadhun would be remade in Telugu with Nithiin in the lead role. Nithiin‘s father Sudhakar Reddy will be producing the Andhadhun remake under his banner Shresth movies.

Actress Tabu’s role in Andhadhun was crucial to the story. This is a negative character that requires a bold avatar. It is heard that Ramyakrishna, Anasuya, and Nayanthara were approached for this role but the makers of finally revealed that Tamannah Bhatia to reprise the Tabu’s role in the Telugu version. Tamannah is playing a negative character for the first time in her career for the Andhadhun remake.

Andhadhun was one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood and also won the National Film Award for Best Actor in males (Ayushmann Khurrana). And its IMDb rating is great among other Indian films. The film revolves around a blind piano player who gets entangled in crime. Actress Radhika Apte played the love interest of Ayushmann Khurrana.

Nabha Natesh will reprise Radhika’s role in this Telugu remake being directed by Mekaparla Gandhi. Mahati Sagar provides the music for the film.
