Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest outing Sarileru Neekevvaru collected a worldwide gross of Rs 260 crores at the box office. though the film got mixed reviews the film garnered good numbers in Sankranti season. Anil Ravipudi directed Mahesh Babu for the first time. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady in the film.

Disco Raja

Mass maharaja Ravi Teja pinned all hopes on ‘Disco Raja’ as his previous films were flops at the box office. But the movie disappointed and a worldwide gross of 23 crores at the box office. The film got mixed reviews. Nabha Natesh, Payal Rajput played leading actresses.

World Famous Lover

Rowdy by Vijay Devarakonda starrer failed to impress the audience and didn’t meet expectations. The film collected a worldwide gross of 19 crores at the box office. the movie featured Rashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, and Aishwarya Rajesh as heroines.

Bheeshma

Actor Nitin got Big hit this year with ‘Bheeshma’. The entertainer received positive reviews all over and ended its run with a gross of more than Rs 40 crores. Comedy timing, story, screenplay are the highlights of the film. Rashmika Mandana too entertained the audience in Venky Kudumula directorial.

Hit: The First Case

It is all about the journey of Vikram, who takes over a case to trace the whereabouts of a missing girl. The movie became a decent hit and the audience has given a big thumbs up for the film. The Producers are planning to make a sequel to the film.

Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya

Satya Dev’s UMUR, which is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ released directly through Netflix and received positive reviews from the critics, praising the performance of Satya dev and the movie screenplay. It has become a decent hit during the pandemic time.

V & Nishabdham

Nani and Sudheer Babu starrer is one of the biggest films to release on the OTT platform (Amazon Prime). But the typical Revenge drama disappointed the audience and does not live up to the hype. Anushka Shetty’s Nishabdham followed the same way. The movie got negative reviews from the critics as the film didn’t live up to the expectations.

Colour Photo

Suhas and Chandini Chowdary starrer Colour Photo was released on the occasion of Dussehra on ‘Aha‘. Colour photo is a lovely and well written romantic drama where emotions are captured beautifully. It is definitely one of the best Tollywood films of 2020. Many Telugu celebrities showered love on the cast and crew of the film and praised their hard work. Director Sandeep Raj made an impressive debut in Tollywood.

Middle Class Melodies

The movie stars Anand Devarakonda and Varsha Bollamma in lead roles. The movie is a cute middle-class story that explorers the tone of the Guntur lifestyle. Every character in this film stays true to it. It is a nice clean family drama which sans usual commercial masala. It is one of the smoothest Telugu hits of 2020. Goparaju Ramana as Anand’s father steals the show, his dialogue delivery, and body language are brilliant that evoke laughs.

Solo Brathuke So Better

Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Solo Brathuke So Better released on 25th December in theatres after a near gap of 9 months (which is due to coronavirus pandemic). The film opens to mixed reviews from critics. The movie has a regular predictable plot. . The film was screened with 50 percent occupancy owing to covid-19 restrictions. The Tollywood film grossed more than rupees 10 crores in the first weekend.
