Dhoni ‘shattered and morose’ after hearing the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput

Bollywood talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14th leaving behind fans heartbroken. Many celebrities and friends mourned the loss of 34-year-old Sushant Singh.

 

Among his many notable films, MS Dhoni biopic (MS Dhoni: The Untold Story) stands on top. Fans will never forget the performance of Sushant in Dhoni’s role. During the film making, Sushant closely interacted with Dhoni and Dhoni’s family members, friends, and coaches. Sushant was trained by former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran more to master the mannerisms of Dhoni on the field. He spent almost 9 months in training which shows his dedication towards the work and commitment.

The film’s director Neeraj Pandey called upon Dhoni to convey the sad news of Sushant’s death. “Apart from calling Dhoni Bhai, have also called two of his best friends. They all seemed upset with such terrible news. Mahi was also in shock to hear the news and got shattered” said Neeraj in an interview.

Social media was flooded with condolences for Sushant. Many celebrities and officials including PM Modi tweeted in shock and grief. Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Netflix film ‘Drive’.
