In a recent revelation, it’s been confirmed that the charismatic Malayalam star actor, Dulquer Salmaan, is all set to join the cast of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming action-packed venture, ‘Thug Life.’ The announcement came straight from the film’s production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, who welcomed Dulquer with open arms via their Instagram account.
The production house, in a post featuring the official movie poster, expressed their enthusiasm for working with Dulquer. They wrote, “His energy and fervor light up the screens! It is always OKK to work with @dqsalmaan.” This announcement sent fans and followers into a frenzy, with comments overflowing with anticipation and excitement. One ecstatic fan exclaimed, “Wow, waiting,” while another simply stated, “Dq on fire.”

The grand revelation happened just one day before the legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s birthday when the filmmakers unveiled the official title of the film. Previously referred to as ‘KH234,’ the movie is now officially known as ‘Thug Life.’ Their caption on the title announcement post read, “A NEW NAME, A NEW HISTORY! #ThugLife. #KH234 #Ulaganayagan #KamalHaasan #HBDKamalSir #HBDUlaganayagan.”
The title announcement video featured Kamal Haasan in a never-before-seen avatar, standing in a desolate, enigmatic landscape, draped in a rugged cloak. The video gave fans a sneak peek at his complete look, featuring a thick mustache and beard, as he was seen being chased by a group of men.
This movie marks a reunion of the iconic duo, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, who last collaborated on the epic ‘Nayakan.’ ‘Thug Life’ doesn’t just feature Kamal Haasan and Dulquer Salmaan; it boasts a star-studded cast including Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Abhirami, and Nasser. The cherry on top is the musical genius, AR Rahman, who will be composing the film’s soundtrack.
Dulquer Salmaan, however, is not limiting himself to ‘Thug Life.’ He’s also set to shine in ‘Surya 43,’ as he enthusiastically shared on his Instagram, “An alluring and exciting journey.
