2 years for Blockbuster Geetha Govindam
Tollywood young hero Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s rom-com drama Geetha Govindam’ completed 2 years of its release on screens today. The movie was released on 15th August 2018.
Geetha govindam became blockbuster with phenomenal collections at the box office. It is emerged as the the fourth highest grossing Telugu film of 2018. Audience and critics loved the film. Tha Parshuram directorial earned rupees 103 crores at the box office.
Geetha govindam is a rom com family drama. It is all about the story of Vijay Govind, a young lecturer in college wishes to marry his love life. But her love interest Geeta is not so easy to convince. The film marks the first time Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna share screen together, and also the first time Vijay and Parshuram joined hands together for a film.
Currently director Parshuram is busy with ‘Sarkaru Vaari Pata’ production works which has Mahesh Babu in lead role, whereas Vijay Devarakonda working with dashing director Puri Jagannath which has Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey in the female lead.
