RGV Dangerous: The Director Fires on PVR and INOX, deets inside
Now, Ram Gopal Varma, aka RGV, is coming out with a film called Khatra (Dangerous), which is a crime thriller drama that marks his first lesbian film. As the film will be released on April 8, 2022, the director is promoting the film aggressively.
RGV describes Khatra as a love story between two women following the repeal of Section 377. Currently, RGV is promoting Khatra (Dangerous), which is based on the relationship between two women.
RGV followers are used to it, he does whatever it takes to get the word out about his film. He’s trying something new this time.
Varma revealed yesterday evening, on his Twitter, that PVR cinemas and INOX CINEMAS are refusing to screen his film Khatra/Dangerous due to its lesbian theme. The Supreme Court has already repealed section 377, and the censor board has already passed.
In addition, he said their management has clearly taken an anti-LGBT stance.
Varma asked not only the LGBT community but also everyone to speak up against the management of these Cinemas for their anti-LGBT stance. He also says this is a violation of human rights.
On February 10, the movie’s trailer was released. There are many bold scenes in the trailer that suggest physical intimacy and it seems to be a hot movie intended to excite the audience.
This crime thriller features some bold shots of Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly in intimate scenes. According to reports, the two girls turned to each other for love and affection after being dissatisfied with their experiences with men.
It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on April 8, 2022. It was titled Khatra/Dangerous in Hindi, Kaadhal Kaadhaldhaam in Tamil, and Maa Ishtam in Telugu.

Dangerous will be released on Spark OTT after its theatrical release, but an official announcement has not been made yet about its digital debut.
