Akshay Kumar Comments on Bollywood Drugs Case
Bollywood star actor Aksay Kumar on Saturday broke his silence over the ongoing drugs row in the Film Industry and stated it would lie if he says the drug problems do not exist.
Laxmmi Bomb actor shared a 4-minute long video on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Bahot dino se mann mein kuch baat thi lekin samajh nahi aa raha tha kya kahoon, kisse kahoon. Aaj socha aap logon se share kar loon, so here goes…#DirectDilSe(sic).”
In the video, Akshay Kumar said,” We might be called stars but it is you who have made Bollywood today. , And the Film Industry has always tried to communicate the culture fo the country all over the world.”
He continued, “Following the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Many issues have come out which have been painful for us. It brought out various issues in the film industry that need immediate attention. Drugs problem exists in Bollywood, But that does not mean that each and every person or aspect of the Film Industry is wrong.”
The Bollywood Actor also requested his fans to not defame the film industry that they have showered with love until now. And also requested media to show sensitivity while reporting the issues as it might have adverse effects on the persons.
It is known news that The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) interrogated Actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh due to alleged connection with the drugs row.
