Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is the remake of Jigarthanda, not Veeram!
Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar has announced his next film Bachchan Pandey movie release date. The actor shared the posters of the film with the new release date and fans can’t keep calm on social media. The makers have fixed the film’s release date as March 18, 2022. The action entertainer also features heroines Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. According to this source, the film Bachchan Pandey was supposed to be the remake of Ajith’s super hit Tamil film Veeram. But then decided to alter The script and it is now a remake of Jigarthanda.
According to a national media report, Bachchan Pandey was titled Land Of Lungi earlier but changed the movie title to Bachchan Pandey as the script demands. Akshay Kumar plays the gangster role in the film, which is played by Bobby Simha in Jigarthanda film.
Director Farhad Samji, who is directing ‘Bachchan Pande’ film is going to helm the film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ which has Salman Khan as the lead actor. As Salman Khan agreed to be part of Ajith’s film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has become the remake of the 2014 super hit film Veeram.

Sajida Nadiadwala is the producer of Bachan Pandey. Tanishk Bakshi, Amaal Malik, B-praak are the music composers for the film. Cinematography handled by Gavemic U Ary. The film trailer will release in the first week of March ahead of its release date of March 18, 2022.
Jigarthanda is a crime comedy movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj. the film has Siddarth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon in lead roles. The film was also remade into Telugu with the title Gaddala Konda Ganesh starring Varun Tej in the lead role.
