Young talented Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is coming up with the new film Gangubai Kathiawadi. Directed by creative filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film’s trailer is dropped online and goes viral on video streaming platforms. It is a biographical crime drama based on the ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai‘ book.

Talking about the Gangubai trailer, it is visual beauty, Alia Bhatt is as subtle and incredible as Gangubai. She again proved that she is one of the top actresses with her acting skills. Ajay Devgan’s look was unveiled in the trailer and his presence elevates the impact. Vijay Raaz’s character is also one of these highlights of the trailer. He plays a powerful character named RaziaBhai.

Gangubai Kathiawadi story:

The film’s story revolves around the life of Gangubai Kathiawadi, a young girl sold into the prostitution business by her friend Ramnik Lal and how she becomes the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura, Red Light Area, Mumbai.

Gangubai Kathiawadi Cast and Crew:

The women-centric film also has an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgan, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raz, Varun Kapoor, Seema Pahwa among others. Huma Qureshi and Emraan Hashmi also play short and important roles in this film.

The film is produced by bye Jayanti Lal Gada together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanchit balhara and Ankit balhara have composed the music tracks for this film.

Gangubai Kathiawadi Release Date:

The movie Gangubai was initially scheduled to release on 11th September 2020 and then 30 July 2021 but it was postponed due to rise in cases of the covid-19 pandemic. But now the film is all set to release on 25th February 2022.

Gangubai Kathiawadi OTT and Satelllite rights:

The popular OTT platform Netflix has bagged the right to stream the film digitally post-theatrical release. The film will premiere digitally after 4 weeks of its release. One can watch and download the film on the Netflix platform. Zee Cinema has bought Gangubai Kathiawadi satellite rights for a whopping price.
