Gandeevadhari Arjuna Receives Deficits On First Sunday!

The action thriller film, Gandeevadhari Arjuna, featuring Varun Tej and Sakshi Vaidya in lead roles, hit the screens last week. However, much to the disappointment of the filmmakers, the movie failed to create any buzz among the audience and witnessed the worst opening in Varun Tej’s career.

Directed by Praveen Sattaru, this action thriller was made on a massive budget, which added to the expectations surrounding the film. However, despite the high production value, Gandeevadhari Arjuna struggled to attract viewers and registered a disastrous opening at the box office. The film’s performance was disheartening in all territories, with negligible shares being collected. In fact, the overall worldwide share is expected to be less than 1Cr after the opening day, highlighting the extent of the disastrous opening.

The trend continued over the weekend as well, with Gandeevadhari Arjuna facing deficits on the first Sunday. The film failed to collect enough shares to sustain itself in most theaters, leaving everyone shocked. The poor word-of-mouth reviews and the lack of pre-release buzz played a significant role in the audience completely avoiding the film.

Apart from Varun Tej and Sakshi Vaidya, the movie also features Nassar, Roshini Prakash, Manish Chaudhari, Abhinav Gomatam, Ravi Varma, Kalpalatha, and Baby Vedain. The star-studded cast and the backing of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, the production house, raised hopes for the film’s success. However, the poor response from the audience has put a dent in those expectations.

The music for Gandeevadhari Arjuna is composed by Micky J Meyar, adding to the anticipation among fans. However, even the music failed to create enough momentum to draw audiences to the theaters. However, there are some movies that started with poor openings but gradually defeated losses and became hits. Now we need to see whether the film can recover from its dismal start or not.
