Dulquer Salman and Diana Penty play key roles in the movie, directed by Rosshan Andrews. This film focuses on Sub Inspector Aravind Karunakaran (Salman) who is part of a false investigation of an innocent man named Murali. The film derails the ‘heroic’ narrative around police and reveals the ‘ugly’ and unethical side of them.

In the movie, real events are told in a realistic manner without dramatizing them, while the focus remains on the fundamental issue.

Jalsa – Amazon Prime

After seeing Vidya Balan’s brilliance in Sherni, and Shefali Shah’s in Delhi Crime, Jalsa is unquestionably one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The storyline focuses on Ruksana’s (Shefali) daughter’s hit-and-run case. Ruksana works at Maya’s (Vidya) residence and looks after her kid, who has cerebral palsy.   Maya is a journalist, who has information about the case but is unwilling to disclose it.

The film is directed by Suresh Triveni.

Eternally Confused and Eager for Love – Netflix

The story revolves around Ray (Vihaan Samat) is on the lookout for love.   He has it all: a secure career, loving parents, and a nice lifestyle. He is quiet and uncomfortable by nature, which prevents him from having a social life and a broad circle of friends. Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, and Jim Sarbh play pivotal parts in the series.
Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films collaborated on this eight-part web series.

Bloody Brothers -Zee5

Shaad Ali directed the Bloody Brothers series, which features Jaideep Ahlawat, Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, and Shruti Sheth in key roles. Jaggi (Jaideep) and Daljeet (Zeeshan) are two brothers who accidentally run over an old man one night.

They try to conceal the body and cover up the crime, but the surrounding community begins to suspect foul play. The 6-part series, based on a Scottish television series, explores many levels of trust, fear, and morality.-

Lalitham Sundaram-Disney+Hotstar

Madhu Warrier directs the Malayalam-language film, which is a feel-good narrative. Sunny (Biju Menon), Annie (Manju Warrier), and their younger brother Jerry (Anu Mohan) are three brothers who reunite after a long time to commemorate their mother’s (Zarina Wahab) death anniversary.

As they fulfill his wishes, the plot explores the flawed relationships, comic events that unfold, and some heartwarming moments shared by siblings who are otherwise busy with their everyday lives.
