Leo OTT Version Have These Differences From Theatrical Release!

In a recent interview, director Lokesh Kanagaraj shed light on the differences between the OTT version and the theatrical version of his film, “Leo.” According to Kanagaraj, around 18 to 20 minutes of the film’s flashback portion was added to relax and celebrate the fans. This indicates that Leo’s OTT version will offer a unique viewing experience compared to the theatrical release.

Kanagaraj also discussed the motives of the film’s main characters, highlighting the distinctiveness of Leo’s character. While Dilli’s motive is to protect his daughter and Vikram’s motive is to create a drug-free society, Leo’s motive revolves around making the world believe that only Parthiban exists and that Leo is dead. This intriguing plotline promises to add depth and complexity to Leo’s character.

Furthermore, the director confirmed that the OTT version of the film will include a climactic scene where Leo reveals himself to Antony Das. This revelation will captivate viewers and keep them on the edge of their seats. Additionally, Thalapathy fans are eagerly anticipating the inclusion of a few extra scenes that are not present in the theatrical version.

“Leo” marks the second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj, following their successful venture, “Master.” Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film has been performing well in many areas, with Trisha Krishnan playing the female lead.

Interestingly, Kanagaraj revealed that he had conceived the story of “Leo” five years ago with a different actor in mind. However, due to casting difficulties, the project did not materialize at the time. After working closely with Vijay in “Master” and witnessing his exceptional performance, Kanagaraj decided to tailor the character of Leo to showcase Vijay’s acting abilities. The director remains tight-lipped about the original intended actor, leaving fans and audiences curious.

Apart from Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, “Leo” boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Iyal, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mandonna Sebastian, Priya Anand, and others in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Seven Screen Studio, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.

With its unique storyline, gripping performances, and additional scenes exclusive to the OTT version, “Leo” promises to be an exciting cinematic experience for both Thalapathy Vijay fans and general audiences alike.
