Prabhas will be seen as Lord Rama in Adipurush!
Pan India Superstar Prabhas is all set to team up with Bollywood director and ‘Tanhaji’ fame Om rout for 3D action drama titled Adipurush. There are speculations doing rounds on social media that Prabhas and Om Raut are coming together for a big project. Confirming it, Prabhas took to Instagram and shared the first look poster of the film. It has the tagline “celebrating the victory of good over evil”.
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Sriram is addressed as Adipurush. So ‘Radheshyam’ star will be seen as Lord Rama in this movie. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar of T-series, Adipurush is an adaption of Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil.
Adipurush will be shot 3D and will be releasing in several languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and few foreign languages.
Prabhas talking about the film said, “Every role comes with its own challenges, but portraying a character like this comes with the tremendous responsibility and Pride. I am very excited to portray this character of our Epic especially the way Om Raut has designed it. I am sure the youth of our country will shower all their love on this film.”
Apart from this movie, Prabhas also has the romantic film ‘Radheshyam’ which has Pooja Hegde as a female lead, and the Nag Ashwin film, in which Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead. It is a sci-fi drama that is bankrolled by ‘Vyjayanti movies’ Ashwini Dutt.
