Shakuntalam Update: Dev Mohan as King Dushyant
Dev Mohan, who plays the part of King Dushyant in the movie Shakuntalam, his first glimpse is out today, much to the pleasure of everyone. Shakuntalam’s creators sent Dev Mohan birthday greetings and then shared the first image of the film with the caption, “Wishing our ever-charming, courageous and handsome King #Dushyant, @ActorDevMohan a very Happy Birthday!”

While riding the horse while out hunting and on the way to meet Shakuntala, Dev Mohan appeared princely and royal. Based on Kalidas’ Abhignana Shakuntalam from Adi Parva, Mahabharata, the movie features Samantha as Shakuntala. Mohan Babu is portraying the wise man Durvasa, while Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha is making her big-screen debut as Prince Bharata.
In the movie, prominent parts are played by Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Ananya Nagalla, Gautami, Kabir Bedi, Madhubala, and Kabir Duhan Singh. Shakuntala’s music, cinematography, and editing are handled by Manisharma, Shekar V Joseph, and Pravin Pudi respectively.
