The Kerala Story just stands behind Pathan collections in 2023!
In just 11 days, The Kerala Story has taken the Bollywood industry by storm, becoming the second-highest grosser of 2023. The action thriller has managed to net an impressive 545 crores in its final run, with collections only next to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. This is quite an achievement, especially considering the state of Bollywood this year, where the next best-grosser was Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which managed to make 147 crores.

The Kerala Story’s success has been largely due to its continued double-digit run since the second day of release. The film opened to an impressive weekend collection of almost 55 crores, and this streak has continued into the weekdays as well. On Monday, the film managed to score 10.30 crores, taking its total collection to 147 crores.
Directed by Sudipto Sen, The Kerala Story is a “conversion terrorism drama” which stars Adah Sharma in the lead role. The film has received critical acclaim for its powerful performances and storyline. 200 Crore Club entry would be there for the movie by the close of the third weekend itself.
