Telugu film V movie is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. This is the first Tollywood Big film that opts for OTT release as the cinema halls remained closed in the present pandemic situation. There was hype on the movie with Actors Nani and Sudheer Babu playing the leads. Let’s look at the V movie review.

Table of Contents

Story:

A brutal murder happens and the killer challenges DCP Aditya (Sudheer Babu). The killer goes on a killing spree and leaves clues on every corpse as says he will commit more murders. V aka Vishnu (Nani) also keeps calling Aditya and challenging him by giving out the details about where the next murder would take place. Why is Vishnu killing everyone? Does Aditya solve the case?

Analysis:

Nani is pretty good in his negative role. His unique dialogue delivery is one of the attractions to his character. But you can easily guess that Nani is killing for a strong reason, not for the amusement. And V reaches the point in the most predictable way.  Nani’s introduction and Sudheer’s chasing the case seems interesting at the beginning, but it goes flat as Sudheer’s role has not shown powerful enough to stop Nani from Committing the next crime.

The Predictablitlty of Nani’s flashback is a minus point for the film. The routine scenes were shown in the second half of the film. The love episodes of both actors are executed in a pale manner.  Actress Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari’s presence hasn’t added much difference to the film. Even though the story seems routine, the screenplay by the director is good, especially in the first half. The movie ends with dull narration and twist.

The background music by Thaman is not bad. Visuals are rich. The cinematography is good in action sequences. Production values are decent.

Finally:

V the movie is not worth the hype and it is a typical revenge drama. V has nothing new on any angle. OTT release is like a blessing in disguise for #Vthemovie. Nani’s action is a major asset for the film. You can give it a try, But with low expectations.
