Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Thursday morning revealed the first image of her forthcoming film Yashoda. The film is being directed by debutant directors duo Hari Hari Harish with the help of Sridevi Movies and is expected to have The Family Man 2 actress perform some high-octane stunts.
The trailer of the film showed an insight into a captivating and fascinating story. It begins with the actress looking up and discovering herself in a room. She walks toward the window and spots the pigeon outside. We can see her reaching for the bird. The camera pans to show that the space she’s within is like a maze.
Produced by Sivalenka Krishnaprasad, Yashoda will have Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing a crucial part as well. The producers of Yashoda plan to release the film with subtitles in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi & Kannada simultaneously.
A few months ago it was reported that the actress had relocated from her home temporarily to live on the set of Yashoda. According to close sources of the moment, Samantha found herself amazed to be able to see the five-star hotel set-ups, which were built to promote Yashoda.
In addition to Yashoda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has many projects on the go. Recently the film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal was a huge success and received a great reception with her performance appreciated by many. The film also had Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
The actress is currently working on Citadel together with Varun Dhawan scheduled to release in the near future. She also wrapped filming for her film Shakuntalam. The actress also has Arrangements Of Love, directed by Philip John in the pipeline. The film is based on a novel written by Indian author Timeri N Murari.
