According to the sources, the theatrical pre-release business of Ajith’s Valimai has done with Rs 96 crores approximately, and it beats his 2017 release Vivegam. The film Vivegam fetched from85 crores approximately from theatrical pre-release business

Many Big films are postponed recently, so there is no competition for Ajith Kumar’s film at the box office. But in the Telugu States, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak may affect the collections of the Valimai Telugu version. Considering the business aspects,  the film needs to earn 100 crores plus share to have its distributors to be ins a safe zone.

In Tamilnadu pre theatrical business is done for Rs 64.50 crores, in overseas, The film has done for Rs 20 crores. Combining other parts of India, the overall business has done of Rs 96 crores. Note that the above prices are excluding GST and include estimate values for some territories which are distributed through ‘own release.’
