Bollywood Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan‘s starrer ‘Jhund’ is all set to release in theatres on March 4, 2022. Fans are excited to watch the sports dram on Big screens. Here is a piece of good news for Bollywood Fans.

NFT will soon be introduced for the first time in Bollywood movies. In collaboration with Tezos India and TZ APAC, Superstar Xchange is launching the NFT ahead of the theatrical release of Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi film “Jhund,” directed by Nagraj Manjule.
Andrew Sternlight and Savita Raj Hiremath co-founded Superstar Xchange, an upcoming NFT marketplace. The platform is dedicated to publishing NFTs about Indian films, and it plans to expand into other parts of the Asian film markets in the near future. Tezos blockchain system was used to build and develop the platform.

The company said in a statement that it aims to help fans and enthusiasts own a piece of their favorite films. On 3rd and 4th March 2022, it will drop two NFTs representing two unique posters from the upcoming Bollywood film “Jhund”. Superstar Xchange’s official website will host NFT drops on both days at 5 PM IST.

As a result, each buyer of these two NFTs will own a unique and exclusive movie poster that can then be traded in the secondary market and/or flexed on social media platforms, according to the statement.

As an Indian film producer and the founder of Superstar Xchange, Savita Raj Hiremath commented, “Given that NFTs range from old to new films, both creativity and innovation are crucial for the business. Further, the concept and uniqueness of a digital asset set NFTs apart as an art form.”

“This is a great investment opportunity for collectors and buyers who appreciate art in all forms, as well as for fans to own a collection of their favorite movies,” she added.

Superstar Xchange is a platform dedicated to publishing film memorabilia and is acquiring the rights to many Indian films and plans to have their respective assets listed as NFTs.

Superstar Xchange Co-Founder Andrew Sternlight said, “From an investment perspective, we expect our new creative digital asset class to deliver strong, diversified returns for its collectors.”

But in Indian cinema, This is not the first time introducing Film as an NFT product. The veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also introduced his film Dangerous in the NFT category.
