Kushi Movie collections: Strong on Sunday too!

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have once again proved their star power with the success of their latest film, Kushi. The romantic comedy, which was released in multiple languages, has witnessed a good jump over the weekend. According to early estimates shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, Kushi recorded a jump in its collections on Sunday, after experiencing a decline on Saturday. The film managed to net an impressive Rs 11 crore across all languages on Sunday, bringing its total weekend collections to Rs 36.15 crore.

While the Sunday collections saw a significant jump from Saturday’s figures of Rs 9.9 crore, Kushi still couldn’t match its impressive opening net of Rs 15.25 crore. Despite this, the film has performed quite well at the box office so far.

However, the real challenge lies ahead for Kushi as it gears up for the crucial Monday test. Monday’s performance will play a crucial role in determining the film’s fate in the coming days. Competition is also on the horizon with the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film, Jawan, on September 7.

Jawan, directed by Atlee, is set to have a wide release in Tamil and Telugu and has already generated solid advances. This means that Kushi will face tough competition from a big-budget film and will need to maintain its momentum to sustain its success.
