Lara Dutta talks about Playing Indira Gandhi in Akshay Kumar’s BellBottom
Bollywood actress Lara Dutta plays the role of former Prime minister Indira Gandhi in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film BellBottom. Fans have wondered after the release of the trailer, why they couldn’t spot Lara Dutta in it.

At the trailer launch ofBellbottom, She said,” Okay, so you did see me in the trailer. I am playing Mrs. Indira Gandhi in the film. that’s me, all it took was a call and the said that Lara this film is being made and we are casting for Indira Gandhi’s role. Even before I heard the script, I said yes. Of course, there is a great responsibility when you are playing somebody who is an iconic figure like her.’
The much-talked-about trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer bellbottom is released on Tuesday. Superstar Akshay Kumar once again impresses one and all with his brilliant performance as the RAW agent in the espionage Spy thriller. The film also features Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi in key roles.
Bell bottom movie will hit theatres on August 19th becoming the first Bollywood big film to release after the covid second wave. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bellbottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikhil Advani.
