Pathaan star congratulates RRR team for Golden Globe Award win
The news of RRR winning a Golden Globe Award was met with great fanfare in India when it was announced earlier today. The award was given to MM Keeravaani for his work on the song ‘Naatu Naatu’, which was featured in the movie RRR.
Shah Rukh Khan, was one of the first people to congratulate the RRR team on their win. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Sir just woke up and started dancing to Naatu Naatu celebrating your win at Golden Globes. Here’s to many more awards & making India so proud (sic).”

At the awards show, the director SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR were present along with the crew. It was a proud moment for all of them as their movie ‘RRR’ was being awarded for the Original song Category. MM Keeravaani, the music director for the film, stepped up to receive the award and thanked the fans globally for all the love and appreciation. Keeravaani took the opportunity to praise SS Rajamouli for his vision and said that this award belongs to him. He also thanked Prem Rakshit and Kala Bhairava for their support, lyricist Chandra Bose and NTR and Ram Charan ‘who danced with full stamina’. He concluded his speech by thanking his wife Srivalli.
