The teaser for Mani Ratnam’s historical epic will launch in multiple languages on Friday, July 8. Amitabh Bachchan will reveal the Hindi teaser. Ponniyin Sevan-Part 1 will be released on September 30.

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is launching the Hindi teaser for filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s opus, “Ponniyin Selvan Part 1” (PS1) digitally. It will be launched by him on Friday at 6:15 p.m. The first part of the film will be released in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is due to hit theatres on September 30, It is one the most anticipated films in 2022 and a major release for Tamil cinema. The film features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Nassar, Vikram Prabhu, Parthiban, and Aishwarya Lekshmi among others.

Parts of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ will be released, with the first one already out. On July 4, the movie makers also revealed the official character look of Vikram, who plays Aditya Karikalan. The makers made a new announcement confirming that the film’s OTT partner was confirmed. The post-theatrical streaming rights to ‘Ponniyin Selvan” have been acquired by a major Indian streaming platform, reportedly at a record price.

Based on the Tamil classic “Ponniyin Selvan”, the film was written by Kalki. “Ponniyin Selvan Part 1” features the best management in each department. A.R. Ravi Varman composed the music for this epic cinematography and historical film.

Thotta Tharani, a National Award-winning art director, is responsible for product design. Mani Ratnam’s trusted editor Sreekar Prasad handles its editing. Lyca Productions presents PS-1. Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions jointly produced PS-1. Music composed by AR Rahman.
